Join us at the Ball Ground Community Center, 250 Civic Dr. Ball Ground GA, as we kick off the 5th Annual Tina’s Cat Run, bringing awareness to Domestic Violence. The proceeds will benefit the Cherokee Family Violence Center and the North Georgia Mountain Crisis Network, Inc. This year we will be having the 5K and 1 mile runs in the morning, and LIVE MUSIC afterwards from 11:00 til 2:00!! The race is LIVE, but virtual options are available. The race course has also been changed this year! The uphill start has been eliminated!! You’ll now have a fast, flat, out and back run!! The 5K race course is USATF Certified.
Entry fee:
$20 for the Live 5K Run if entry is received by 10/01/22 - $25 after 10/01/22
$25 for the Virtual 5K Run if entry is received by 10/01/22 - $30 after 10/01/22
$20 for the 1 Mile Live or Virtual Run/Walk if entry is received by 10/01/22 - $25 after 10/01/22
$15 for the Phantom Runner if entry is received by 10/01/22 - $20 after 10/01/22
What do I get? Every participant will receive a one of a kind, custom Cat Run t-shirt. Custom medals will be given in the Live 5K Race, to all male and female 1st, 2nd & 3rd place finishers, per age group, as well as Overall, Masters and Grand Masters. Finisher medals will be given to everyone who completes the Live 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk. Custom Virtual Medals will be given to everyone who participates in one of our Virtual Runs. Plus, this year, in honor of our 5 year anniversary, the first 100 people who sign up for the LIVE 5K will receive a special 5th anniversary swag bag!!
Packet Pickup: Ball Ground Community Center - 250 Civic Dr. Ball Ground, GA 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. on 10/14/22, and 7:00 a.m.- 8:00 a.m. on race day. Race packets can be mailed to Virtual Race participants only? An extra $5.00 fee will be charged.
IMPORTANT! Once you have signed up for your event, be sure to download the new IYR Virtual Race App (see link on right side of this page) so that you can record your distance and time and upload your results! Or you can enter your time manually on the Results page (see video below for instructions - (you must sign in with the email address used to make your entry into the event). Results can be uploaded or entered anytime before midnight Saturday, October 15, 2022.
